Sale for May - Oracle and it's sequel, Book of Secrets

A long time ago in a fan fiction land far away... I wrote a short story about an man with magical empathic powers and his links to the Oracle at Delphi. It was also the inspiration for my first ever MM novel, Oracle.

This was the very first book I sent to a publisher. The first publisher rejected it for showing and not telling on the first pass. I rewrote the book, learned from the rejection and then another publisher took it.

On the down side the book was with Silver (ROFL, we all know how that ended!) but on the up side the book was the first of many that I was pleased to be able to write.

Although Oracle isn't one of my more well known contemporary books I am so incredibly proud of it. And I couldn't stop with just one book. I loved Alex and Luke and there was another story in them. This became *Book Of Secrets*.

Both books are now safely snuggled in with Love Lane Books and for the month of May, in celebration of it being four years since I first subbed the book, both in the series are on special offer.

Book of Secrets (Oracle #2)

was $3.99 now $2.99 - 36,100 words

Alex is making good on his promise to put things right. Along with Griff and Chris, he retrieves items he had stolen with Edward, and replacing them. It's dangerous work, especially since he lost his most useful Oracle-given powers.

When a replacement goes wrong and Alex 'disappears' he realizes that something has left a mark he can never rid himself of.

Meanwhile Luke is kidnapped to work on a manuscript that could hold the key to the secrets of alchemy and offer the reader eternal life. The Voynich manuscript is missing its cypher and it's up to Alex to steal it for the Serbian ex-art thief whom he calls friend.

Only — it's held in the private library at Windsor Castle.
