This new quest leads Alec, Cronin, and their band of friends to Paris, Rome, and Moscow, where they learn that gargoyles aren’t simply statues on walls. In the underground pits beneath churches all over the world, Alec discovers the Key’s true destiny. Facing the Zoan might take every talent he has. And he may need help from the dead to get them all out alive.
Review:
What I liked most about this series is that I can easily imagine it as a film. A bit like any Jordan Hawk book the images are vivid in my head. I love Alec, with all his freaky powers, and his vulnerability when it comes to all things Cronin. As to Cronin, I just love the way he is always there for Alec. This small family of vampires is so tightly knit. Dan Brown was referenced a couple of times in this book, and I must admit the whole puzzle part of these books with their ancient riddles and history absolutely fascinates me. A brilliant book. Highly recommended that you read the entire series.
