Second is The Code - I've been really pleased with the way The Code has been received, and the reviews have been wonderful. Writing in this new world of Hockey was challenging and exciting at the same time. Book 2 is out Spring 2017, so I hope it's as well received :)
And finally, A Cowboy's Home - The Montana series has gone from strength to strength, and book 4 is out on 7th December. So excited :)

Snow and SecretsBooks Laid Bare Boys - "....I enjoyed his book very much. It was a little predictable and cliched in parts, but sometimes you just want a comfort read. The good thing about RJ Scott is that she writes well so her plot lines and story flow properly and attention to detail means you don’t have to worry about typos and mistakes. The support characters are well constructed and relevant, and well written descriptions bring the story to life. The sex is steamy without being too graphic and you really get a good sense about how Tyler and Garrett feel about each other as their journey progresses. This was an engaging and enjoyable book...."
Gay Book Reviews - 5/5 - "....This was a wonderful read filled full of two men trying to escape their realities of life for some wound licking and solitude. Not only do they get that but they get each other too, which is way better. I enjoyed reading their journey and watching both men come back to life because of each other. This book was even better because of the fantasy come true for both men because they both have had certain fantasies about he other...."
Dog-Eared Daydreams - 4.5/5 - "....I liked the suspense thriller of this new installment to the series, what with Garrett working for the government and all. His story with Tyler is the kind that those of us who have celebrity crushes could only dream of. There's a connection between them but it's one that's fostered during their time together in the cabin and not a case of insta-love. Aside from the suspense and romance elements, this book highlighted the importance of family and how the support both Tyler and Garrett get from their respective siblings are able to keep them grounded and centered. I hope Justin Campbell's story is up next, followed by Kyle Mercer's. I'm giving Snow & Secrets 4.5 stars...."
Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words - 4/5 - "....Its not just the main characters we get to fall in love with. No, RJ Scott (as she is always so good at), gives us a cast of believable warm human beings to pull close around us like a comfortable, snug blanket. We connect with everyone here. Sisters, brothers, friends…enough that, even though this works as a standalone story, you want to go back and read the other stories because Stanford Creek has become real and inviting. And yes, that’s exactly what I’m doing next. Gong to pick up and dive into the stories I missed next...."
Diverse Reader - ".... There’s a little suspense to this story and a lot of love and acceptance and above all there’s a great support for both of these guys.
I liked this book and was entertained throughout! I have a few questions that, like I said earlier, I feel the other books might have the answers to so I'll be checking those out...."
Making it happen - 4.5/5 - "....Snow & Secrets was a 4.5-star read for me, just missing that last half-star for the HFN over an HEA. It's a really great read, and I definitely recommend it to any M/M romance fan 18+ (for adult language and M/M sexual content). Oh, and now I really want to install a hot tub...and wouldn't mind if Tyler and Garrett were included in it...."
Carly's Book Reviews - 4/5 - "....Four stars to RJ for drawing me in, making me fall in love with her characters, and keeping me rooting for the home team...."
Jen's Corner Spot - "....Really cute story, good, well thought out characters and great beginning. Can't wait to read more in the series...."
Dog-Eared Daydreams - 4.5/5 - "....The Code was a good series starter, introducing readers to other members of the Ice Dragons hockey team as well as several marked members of Kat's team at her fire station plus giving an interesting story that was about finally being honest about one's feelings and going after that happily-ever-after. The book was also about family and about being part of a team. I enjoyed Kat and Ryan's story and found both them and their love story easy to get into. This was a promising beginning to Ice Dragons, and I look forward to more! The Code gets 4.5 out of five stars...."
Foxylutely Books! - 4/5 - "....Overall I really enjoyed this and if the romance had come in that little bit sooner with a touch more angst and drama then this would surely have been a five star read. I would definitely recommend it though and look forward to the next book in the series. Four stars...."
The Opinionated Woman's Musings - 4/5 - "....This book got many hearts as it did because of Ryan. He was rough and tough on the outside, but tender and sweet on the inside. He had been in love with Kat for years but never thought he was good enough. I like that he decided to bite the bullet and go after what he wanted. He let her set the pace and didn’t pressure her to commit until she was ready...."
A Page To Turn Reviews - 5/5 - "....Guys. Sports romance generally isn’t my thing. That’s largely because sports as a whole aren’t my thing. But then hockey happened and I can’t get enough of it, so when I saw this book, I was absolutely dying to read it! I mean, really. Can it get any better than an adorable love story and hot hockey players? I think not! The characters were real and refreshing, and the situation (minus the hockey) was one I know from experience. Despite the fact that my brother is younger than me, he’s fiercely protective and protective brothers have a way of scaring off any and all romantic prospects. There’s also this unwritten rule that somehow makes you off limits to your brother’s friends. All of that was completely real in this story and I loved how easy it was to relate to! I also loved the characters. It’s so easy for a love story to focus on physical attraction and superficial love. But because Kat and Ryan have a history, it allowed a great deal more substance in this love story. They really did have the chance to love each other for all that they were and all that they weren’t....."
Nicole's Book Musings - 4/5 - "....I was drawn to this book because Ryan is a hockey player and I love hockey books. It has also has one of my favorite troupes brother's best friend/brother's sister. It's great story where this hockey team has a code they live by,but Ryan sure would to break the rule of not dating his best friend's sister. I guess you could say this book also has my favorite troupe of friends to lover because Ryan and Kathryn have been friends forever and growing up Ryan was like a second brother. You can feel the sexual tension between the two. The struggle to keep their relationship in the friend zone, but the sparks are to hot to deny...."
Making it happen - 4.5/5 - "....While I've read many of RJ Scott's M/M books and loved them, this is the first of her M/F stories that I've tried. Verdict? She's just as good on this side, and I'm excited to continue following the Ice Dragons series as it unfolds! The brother's best friend/best friend's sister trope is always a favorite-you've got an entwined past and a built-in tension already established, and now add to this that's it's a hockey romance too? My boxes were getting ticked off left and right...."
Wicked Reads - "....Yes! This is what I hoped for when one of my favourite m/m writers started writing m/f romance. We still have a wonderfully intense leading man, but this time he is perfectly matched with a fiercely independent woman...." - Please click the link for all the reviews by Wicked Reviews
A Cowboy's Home
Diverse Reader - "....This is a hurt/comfort read that was phenomenally done and kept my interest the whole time. The drama part of the story was well told and made Justin’s disappearance and the fact that he stayed away believable. The man had been manipulated in his grief over the loss of his best friend. The passion between these two complex men is heat and love all rolled into one...."
The Novel Approach - "....To get the full dynamics of the Montana series, read Crooked Tree Ranch and The Rancher’s Son, then A Cowboy’s Home. It isn’t just a quick falling in love story between Sam and Justin. It’s a story about two men who have to heal and put the past behind them and move forward. It’s also about reuniting family, or making a decision not to put them in danger. I think RJ Scott will bring us more of Adam and Justin. With Adam only gaining bits and pieces of his memory, there isn’t closure yet between him and Justin...."
The Way She Reads - "....Overall this was an at times very hard to read, heartrending but ultimately fabulous and very satisfactory story that kept me on edge for longer than I’m usually comfortable with, only to lead me to the happy but not too perfect ending it needed. I can’t wait to read book four and spend more time with all of the Montana gang...."
