Book Ideas in dreams, SIRI, and a new series is born

I recall this because someone commented on it...

I probably need to add this to my *to do* list :)

* * * * *

This doesn't happen often, getting a book idea in a dream, but when i woke up at 4am this morning I had a fully fledged idea... I immediately grabbed my iPhone and spoke to SIRI to create myself an email and this is what SIRI reckons I said:

Family is having the children taken away from spamming system whereby still practised future

. Agency parents and explain how the better off without

This is particularly restaurants assist me works sometimes house single parent given the chance future instead

Who thinks that this will be an amazing book? ROFLMAO! 'cause yeah, this is as coherent as I apparently get when I am half asleep and makes absolutely NO SENSE

Anyway, the idea is, that a team of *people* are given the names of kids to remove them from their families. This is because the children have a skill with *things* that only someone with knowledge of the future would know. This is an accepted practise and actually families are kind of proud if their child is chosen.

Except for *name here* who has recently lost his partner and the only thing left is the daughter they created together. AND... he is also part of some shadowy *resistance*. This would be contemporary but alternative world type stuff... like this actually happens in the world now... if you see what I mean.

I have no title, I have no names, but it appears that I do have another story to add to my list of ideas... rofl. I also apparently have a thought in my head about a tattoo... yes, I don't know why either...

Opposites Attract - Billionaires Club book 2

Being best man at his closest friend’s wedding is Spencer Garrett’s idea of hell. Reserved and quiet he hates being front and center of this big budget event.

Gabriel Walker is chief groomsman and is the complete opposite to Spencer. He is loud and being the center of attention is exactly where he wants to be.

Gabriel can never resist provoking Spencer. For once, he'd like to see ‘Mr Ice’ lose control and have fun. He makes it his mission to give Gabriel a taste of hot and sexy for one night only. Just the kind of quick and satisfying meet-up which suits Gabriel down to the ground.

But before the wedding night is over, their unexpected connection will threaten to undermine everything they both believe about themselves and each other….

Harry Jones and the Zombie Apocolypse - Idea that just had to be written down...

Harry Jones is a mild mannered salesman, redundant from his job selling white goods because his firm is closing. He applies for a sales job to sell *safe houses* and is promised five hundred thousand dollars for every one sold. He only needs to sell one every two years...

Easy money.

Except for when he meets Doctor Amery Pike who is utterly convinced the Zombie Apocolypse isn't very far away.

When the doctor insists on seeing the prototype and turns up with a van of food, water and toilet rolls, Harry knows this isn't going to be a good day at the office.

From the article I found:

"... Every once in a while I stumble over some crazy article in the newspaper that reports about someone rich building a doomsday shelter or bunker to keep safe from whatever might strike earth in the near future. Those articles have always been quite mesmerizing to me because it sounds like a huge endeavor to go through spending all that time and money on something that might never be needed.

Besides, if the earth got struck by a meteor in close enough range, the bunker would most likely be taken out with the rest of the man-made structures, even if it’s underground. This is not even to mention all the food we're harboring in case of a huge global disaster. But then again, with all the things that have happened in the last few years, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if a global disaster really did happen.

Of course, we all hope that something like a large natural disaster never happens, but if it does, then we might want to stay in one of these “bunkers,” and hopefully we’ll survive.

The architects over at KWK Promes decided to make a reality out of a bunker idea and make the ultimate above ground fortress in case there is a huge disaster in the near future. Or maybe the people that designed this house really think that the world will soon be inhabited by a gigantic army of zombies.

The house, which looks perfectly normal but with a somewhat futuristic look, shouldn’t raise any eyebrows during the daytime. However, when night falls, the house takes on a completely different shape and form. The huge concrete blocks sitting beside the windows start to swing shut, and a huge iron shield is rolled down at the back of the house. The only way to get in or out of this zombie fortress is really through the drawbridge that swings down over the pool area outside...."

Useful if you want to make sure there are no zombies munching on your brains during the night...

Formula One novel - Working titles - Downforce, Speed, Pole Position

Before meeting my husband more than twenty years ago I didn't really know that Formula 1 existed. He is a HUGE Ferrari fan and has been since he was a wee little thing. He doesn't follow a particular driver, he is a Ferrari follower. He follows the passion and the fire that the Italian team have, and is a fan through the good years and the bad.

I love all the bits around the GPs. The backbiting, the rivalry, the larger than life characters, and yep, I am shallow, I love the very pretty men... rofl...

I also live about 20 miles from Silverstone so setting the scene wont be too difficult, and yes, I have sat at Silverstone and watched a GP.

I have wanted to write a story based around Formula 1 ever since I started writing fan fiction, but the canvas seems so broad. I know my story, I want a driver and an engineer, and I want to capture the glamour and life that surrounds the F1 circus.

So this time last year I began thinking about the story, but I am still worrying about whether a US Market would like the F1 type story. Although there is now a US GP. Then I convince myself that the book wouldn't be full of driving terms and technical details but actually more about the back end of it, and the media and the glamour... and that can be put against any kind of sport.

So anyway... this is a post acting as a place marker for this book which should be with you in time for the British GP 2015.
