Weekly Roundup - December 10


It's been another busy weekend at RJ central, Christmas preparations are well underway and today, we had snow! Here's what else has been going on this week...

The French translation of of Texas Winter, Un Hiver au Texas, was released on Monday. That's the 11th book I've had translated into French, you can find the list here. 

I talked a little about The Christmas Throwaway and The Heart Of Texas and how they were complete game changers for me on Tuesday, see what I had to say here.

It was the official release of Love Happens Anyway on Wednesday, a book that started off as a short story and ended up being my Christmas book this year.

George Loveland also popped in on Wednesday and took his turn in the Hump Day Hot Seat and talked about his new release, On The Third Kiss.

The Queer Romance Freebie & Fan Club Group Hop started Monday, if you've missed the first few posts not to worry, you can go grab the letters posted so far and still be in for a chance  to win the grand prize of a Kindle Paperwhite.

Another fabulous event this year is the Rainbow Advent Calendar, new stories every day in December from some great authors.

The Feature Friday guest was the wonderful Elin Gregory who talked about the pitfalls of writing historicals.

Ángel en una librería, the Spanish translation of Angel In a Bookshop was released on Friday, you can find the information on it here along with my other Spanish translation.

Changing Lines (Harrisburg Railers #1) is still only 99 pennies for one more day celebrating the release of Deep Edge (Harrisburg Railers #3).

And finally, the #RainbowSnippets yesterday was from Texas Christmas (Texas #5) which came out in Audio recently.

Weekly Round Up - November 19


Another week of NaNo over and my word count is now 37,000, I've finished Love Happens Anyway, started Winter Cowboy (Whisper Ridge, Wyoming #1) and am currently writing a Christmas short for a Rainbow Advent Calendar, more info on that below.

It's All About The Audio this week was about Texas Winter (Texas #2) and the first introduction to Hayley.

On Tuesday, Texas Gift (Texas #8) was released, it was a little early as those Amazon fairies were super quick, if you haven't grabbed your copy yet you can find all the information here along with some reviews.

A short story featuring the guys from Boy Banned went up for Amber Kell's Birthday Month over on her blog.

It was Sloan Johnson's turn in the Hump Day Hot Seat this week, there's still a chance to win a backlist ebook from Sloan here.

Rainbow Snippets this week was from The Case of the Cupid Curse (End Street #1), with Volume 3 coming out next week it was nice to revisit Sam and Bob.

From the 1st - 24th of December authors of GLBT+ fiction will be opening a door to a selection of festive stories to while away the winter days and get you in the Christmas spirit with the Rainbow Advent Calendar. You can find all the information here and join the Facebook group here.

Weekly Round-Up - November 12


It's nearing the end of week two of NaNo and I'm still on track, 33,850 words written so far, you can find out a little about NaNo here along with what I'm writing this month.

Winners of the ARC Giveaway for Texas Gift (Texas #8) are Alec Dunmore and Angela VR. Congratulations!

 It's All About The Audio on Monday was The Heart of Texas (Texas #1) Narrated by the wonderful Sean Crisden.

On Tuesday the Italian translation of The Code (Ice Dragons #1), Il Codice, was released and has some fabulous reviews.

Wednesday it was Hump Day Interview time and this week Kay Berrisford stopped by. There's still a couple of days left to enter the giveaway to win a $15 gift card so head over to the post and answer the question.

The first Feature Friday guest was Joanna Chambers, she came to talk about her recent audio release, Beguiled (Enlightenment #2) a series I love and can't wait to listen to this. She's also got a Christmas Anthology out in a couple of weeks.

Weekly Round-up - November 5


It's been a busy week here at RJ central, here's a quick recap in case you missed anything - *hugs* RJ

My super-secret project was revealed to be *drum roll* Texas Gift (Texas #8). We're heading back to Texas for 10 years in the life of Jack, Riley and the family and friends who make up the Double D Ranch. You can find out all about it here. 

Jordan L Hawk's Wild Wild Hex was released, I love everything Jordan writes and this was no exception. Details about the book and my review can be found here.

Ghost (Sanctuary #9) came out Feb 28 and is still on tour with a giveaway, you can find the information here. 

Für einen regnerischen Nachmittag (German Translation of For A Rainy Afternoon) came out on March 7.

Le Coeur du Texas (French Translation of The Heart of Texas) came out on March 8. 

The Case of The Guilty Ghost (End Street #6) is out March 15, this is the final book in the End Street Series written with Amber Kell.
